They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words…
Pictures play a crucial role in inspections, capturing visual evidence that words alone cannot fully convey. They provide an objective and detailed record of the condition and state of a property or item being inspected. By visually documenting areas of concern, damages, or discrepancies, pictures enable accurate assessments and comparisons over time. They serve as undeniable proof, supporting inspection reports and aiding in decision-making processes. Pictures also facilitate effective communication between inspectors, clients, and home owners ensuring a clear understanding of the inspection findings and reducing potential misunderstandings.
Ultimately, pictures add depth, clarity, and credibility to inspections, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation and providing a visual reference that enhances transparency and accountability.
This is why we invest in property inspection & management software, we don’t just show up and conduction inspections with a camera. We use an embedded photo/video check list which allows us to document not only the items captured by the photo/video (Most common)but notes for context as well. This data is also automatically synced with the property address in our software and the inspection can be emailed to the home owner once completed as well.
